Former lawmakers land may be sold

The state Attorney General’s office is looking to sell 26 acres of land in Lakeville belonging to a former state lawmaker to repay people allegedly misled by his alternative energy company. July 13, 2011 Attorney General Martha Coakley reached an agreement in 2008 with former state Rep. Mark Howland of Freetown and his company WindTech Co. to settle allegations that he made false and misleading representations in promoting the sale of wind turbines.
