Grant to add 13 acres to Green Hill Park

A state grant to buy nearly 13 acres of forested woodland will extend the size of Green Hill Park, and allow for the connection of a hiking trail from Lake Quinsigamond to downtown Worcester. July 01, 2011 Lt. Governor Timothy P. Murray visited Worcester yesterday to announce $602,525 in Conservation Partnership Grants that will assist nine nonprofit organizations, including the Greater Worcester Land Trust, in preserving 136 acres of open space throughout Massachusetts.
