LNR Closes on 830 Acres at Former South Weymouth Naval Air Station

LNR Property LLC has closed on the purchase of the final 830 acres of land from the United States Navy at Southfield, formerly the site of the South Weymouth Naval Air Station. December 16, 2011 The $2.5 billion redevelopment of the former naval air station will feature 2,855 units of housing and 2 million square feet of commercial and retail space.
