Land acquisition adds 63 acres in Westford

In late December, the Conservation Commission completed a purchase of approximately 42.5 acres of land from Leonard Schwab using $200,200 of Community Preservation Act money. A permanent conservation restriction will be placed on the land, and held by the Westford Conservation Trust. The land is located between Hildreth Hills and Rome Drive. This land adds to an extensive area of protected open space in this part of the town.
