LINCOLN- Boston magazine recently named Lincoln one of the "Best Places to Live" if you're downsizing. The list, in the March issue, features 30 of the best neighborhoods and towns in eastern Massachusetts, detailing many aspects under consideration when buying a home, including: education for children, ability to trade up, possibilities of downsizing, recently becoming unhitched and being new to the market.

According to the listing, Lincoln's eco-friendly citizens, including the Rural Land Foundation, have covered neighborhoods with walking trails by securing permanent protection over the land, also to be used by sustainable farmers. The Food Project also mentors teens on how to grow organic food for shelters which attracts those prospective homebuyers who are looking to become a little greener.
