Milford Township buys developers land

After putting up with four years of delinquent special assessment fees and tax bills on property that had been intended for an extensive subdivision, Milford Township has purchased a 44-acre land parcel from Oakland County. October 06, 2011 Tapping its land acquisition fund, the township paid nearly $500,000 in special assessment fees and some $11,600 in back taxes for the foreclosed property, located west of Old Plank Road and abutting East Moore Road.
