Sand mine land in Caledonia Township could become park

The site of a sand mining operation could someday become a township park. Peter and John Den Hartigh, the owners of Cherry Valley Development, are working with township officials to donate about 200 acres south of 68th Street during the next 20 years for parks and recreation areas.
