County adds 40 acres in Lake Elmo as open space

More than 40 acres of land along Inwood Avenue in Lake Elmo will be protected against development under a Washington County purchase agreement. July 02, 2011 Commissioners voted last week to spend $505,920 to buy a conservation easement on land owned by Oakdale resident Thomas Armstrong Sr., a retired Washington County district judge.
