DNR has more than 8000 acres enrolled for walk in hunting

Landowners in southwestern Minnesota had enrolled more than 8,000 acres in the state’s Walk In Access pilot program as of Tuesday, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. August 14, 2011 Enrollment continued through Friday. Final enrollment figures were not available.
