Investment firm buys 4.3 acres of old 3M land on St. Pauls East Side

A St. Paul investment firm is buying 4.3 acres in the Beacon Bluff Business Center, formerly the 3M Co. headquarters, on the city's East Side. October 27, 2010 The St. Paul Port Authority on Tuesday approved the sale of land and buildings to the Ironton Asset Fund. The four buildings -- known as Buildings 3, 14, 20 and 21 -- have been targeted for reuse at the behest of the community. Building 21 was 3M's global headquarters.
