About 200 acres of potential commercial or industrial real estate in Madison County goes on the auction block today in a special tax sale. August 29, 2011 The property along Parkway East just south of Gluckstadt, carrying a $500,000-plus tax debt annually, has gone untouched in the past two tax sales. However, a state law approved by the 2011 Legislature gives Tax Collector Kay Pace another chance to collect the delinquent taxes on the land.
