The value of the land was determined in the Lincoln County Court.

The largest sum is nearly $210,000 for 9.5 acres of land, which includes compensation for intruding into about 30 acres of adjoining farmland, all owned by the Dave Steffes and family.

The new overpass will cut off some acres, create two other small tracts of a half-acre and 1.3 acres, and disrupt the irrigation system on about 30 adjoining acres.
