Forest adds 800 acres in Upper Summers Meadows

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest recently acquired an 880-acre property that encompasses Upper Summers Meadows in the Eastern Sierra, just south of Bridgeport due to the dedication of The Conservation Fund. April 25, 2011 This property is located in a pristine area overlooking Twin Lakes and the Hoover Wilderness on the Bridgeport Ranger District, at 7,600 feet.
