Ranch conservation easement protects 329 acres

Middle Park Land Trust completed a transaction with Michael J. Miniat of MJM Enterprises Inc. recently for a conservation easement. The agreement will protect the Curtis Ridge Property, a 329 acre tract of land located just east of County Road 34 in the Williams Fork Valley. Under the deed of conservation easement, MPLT holds development rights to the property in perpetuity. “The Curtis Ridge Property provides an important natural habitat for wildlife, especially mule deer and elk,” explained Carse Pustmueller of MPLT. “This agreement will protect the open space and habitat values of the land.”
