Valley land sales total $231.8 million in 2010

Discount land prices fueled a valleywide buying bonanza in 2010, Las Vegas-based Sunbelt Development & Realty Partners reported. About $231.8 million of property changed hands during the last year, up 167 percent from $86.9 million in 2009. The residential sector had the most activity.
