$200M goes to saving space in New Jersey

The gridlock that had kept county preservation programs in limbo the past few months appears to have finally eased. April 20, 2011 Ken Atkinson, Gloucester County's director of land preservation and chair of the Garden State Preservation Trust (GSPT), said the state Treasury informed the GSPT earlier this month it could begin considering funding requests for Green Acres (open space acquisition) projects and farmland preservation.
