The land, from the estate of Thomas J. Flatley, was donated to the town at a "nominal cost" of about $24,000 in lost annual tax revenue and is now officially Braintree property after the Town Council voted unanimously (with councilors John Mullaney and Charles Ryan absent) to accept the gift at its meeting Tuesday night.
