Gloucester County, East Greenwich preserve 43 acres on Kings Highway

The deed for 43 acres of land to be preserved permanently as open space was handed over to the township Wednesday, saving the acreage from future residential development. March 23, 2011 The land, known as the Peaslee property was slated for 13 single-family homes, but with the combination of the township and county’s efforts, it has been purchased to remain open space.
