Morris County preservation 20000 acres and counting

Nineteen years after Morris County voted to establish a tax to purchase open space, a celebration was held Wednesday to celebrate the more than 20,000 acres preserved as a result of that vote. “We now possess, in perpetuity, some of the most beautiful, diverse and highly accessible parks and outdoor recreation facilities in the state,’’ said Freeholder Ann Grossi, who gave the opening remarks at the ceremony.
