Plans for the two county-owned parcels along Sturgeon Point Road have been in limbo for years, as debate raged over whether to preserve the land or sell it and place it back on the tax rolls.

But the Evans Town Board recently signed off on the sale agreement, as did the Erie County Legislature last year.
