Suffolk OKs 415 acre land buy in East Quogue

The Suffolk County Legislature has begun to take steps to buy 415 acres in East Quogue once slated for a development of 82 new homes. June 26, 2011 Suffolk would partner with the Town of Southampton on the purchase from the parcel’s owners East Quogue Partners, who are reported to be seeking $35 million for the property in the area known as Spinney Hills.
