30 acre Hartsville annexation approved

Hartsville’s annexation of more than 30 acres of mostly undeveloped land on the west side of the city is complete. February 09, 2011 City Council gave final and unanimous approval Tuesday to a series of seven ordinances annexing a total of 30.66 acres on West Carolina Avenue, Bobo Newsome Highway (S.C. 151), Forest Hills Drive and Kelleytown Road in the area where West Carolina and Bobo Newsome Highway converge. The area is known locally as The Point.
