East Carolina Farm Credit Marketing Manager Linda Strickland announced that the cooperative farm lender has established an exclusive partnership with LandsofAmerica.com LLC, an online real estate marketing service provider.
The partnership enables East Carolina Farm Credit to display listings for more than 20,000 farms, ranches, recreational property and country homes on its Web site, www.farmcredit.org. Visitors browsing the Web site can search the largest database of rural land listings in the United States. By advertising the properties on its Web site, East Carolina Farm Credit is able to direct buyers to realtors and brokers in eastern North Carolina and other parts of the nation.
"Everyone benefits from this partnership," Strickland said. "It gives potential buyers access to listings of rural real estate for sale in our area, as well as properties in all 50 states. Furthermore, it gives us the opportunity to show the real estate community that we're here to help them advertise their properties to thousands of potential buyers who visit our Web site."
Currently, the www.LandsofAmerica.com network has more than 1,000,000 visitors per month, nearly double the visits from six months ago.
LandsofAmerica.com LLC has similar partnerships set up with a total of 44 Farm Credit associations in 18 states.
"The partnerships with the Farm Credit associations have been a perfect fit; we both share the same objective of providing the best service possible to rural real estate brokers and buyers," LandsofAmerica.com LLC Chief Executive Officer Jake Massengale said. "We are excited about the increased exposure this partnership will provide for the 3,500 rural real estate agents that use our network."
