LNR Property eyes sale of 280 acres in University Research Park via auction

LNR Property is preparing to auction off about 280 acres of undeveloped land in the University Research Park that the commercial real estate firm acquired as part of J.A. Jones Inc.’s bankruptcy. Miami-based LNR is turning to online real estate auction site Auction.com in an effort to drum up buyers for the property. The firm also is auctioning off a three-building office park off Billy Graham Parkway that went into foreclosure earlier this year, and Mooresville Town Square, a 23,488-square-foot retail property on Williamson Road that went into foreclosure in late 2010.
