More Incentives Coming to Open Land for Hunting

USDA is going to award North Dakota $300,000 soon under the new $50-million Open Fields program. USDA will be awarded the grant the North Dakota under a new program that was was part of the 2008 Farm Bill and included $50 million over four years to provide incentives to farmers and ranchers who voluntarily open their land to hunting, fishing and other wildlife-related activities.
