15000 acres with an Appalachian view

Overlooking a 15,000-acre wilderness area in Adams County is the Eulett Center, a focal point of the Edge of Appalachia Preserve System. On Thursday, 4-6 p.m., an open house is being held at the center to give the public a better idea of the focus and function of the center and the staff. "We want people to get an idea what the center and the preserve is about," said Jessica Huxmann, preserve naturalist.
