Amazon Buying More Land in Oregon

Amazon is acquiring more land in Oregon, according to local media, a move that lays the groundwork for future data center expansion in the state. Vadata Inc., an Amazon affiliate that has previously acquired property for the company’s data centers, has recently bought land in the Port of Morrow and the Port of Umatilla. November 10, 2010 Amazon has already built (but apparently not occupied) a data center in the Port of Morrow near Boardman.
