CAMAS VALLEY: The Roseburg district of the Bureau of Land Management sold the Bogey Gap Density Management Timber Sale on Tuesday in an oral auction.
Douglas County, Inc. was the successful bidder out of three active bidders. The company bought 174 acres a couple of miles northwest of Camas Valley to be thinned that should result in about 2,690 thousand board feet.
The purchasing price was $436,691.70. The tract was appraised at $146,914.50. Information: 440-4930.
