In a press release, leaders of the land trust say they have negotiated a purchase price for the property off Shore Road, but they will need to secure additional funding from private foundations, family foundations and the general public to make the deal final. The trust also is seeking funding from the Town of Cape Elizabeth and the state's Land for Maine's Future program.
