Selling a piece of the rock

An 813-acre swath of one of Jackson County's most distinctive landmarks — Upper Table Rock — could be sold to the federal government for about $2 million by The Nature Conservancy. If sold, the land deal would mean that most of the plateau of Upper Table Rock belongs to the Bureau of Land Management.
