Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District buys 9.5 acres of land for $1.4 million

The Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District bought 9.5 acres of land for $1.4 million, which will be developed into natural areas, a park and a trail-head, the district announced Monday. March 08, 2011 The land was bought in two parts. The first, 6.67 acres of property at the northeast corner of Southwest Farmington Road and Southwest 165th Avenue, cost $990,000 and will have a new neighborhood park, restored riverbank and wetland.
