Vancouver land sale clears way for up to 225 new jobs

Farwest Steel Corporation, a Eugene-based steel fabrication company, is expected to add 225 jobs in Clark County after the Port of Vancouver board voted to sell 20 acres of land to the company. August 10, 2010 The $5 million sale, approved Tuesday at the port's board of commissioners meeting, is a rarity for the port.
