Agriculture digest: Farm preservation board puts 158 acres in program

State Sen. Judy Schwank, a Ruscombmanor Township Democrat, announced 158 acres of farmland in Berks County will be preserved through the purchase of conservation easements valued at $394,000. May 01, 2011 This funding was approved by the Pennsylvania Agricultural Land Preservation Board, of which Schwank is a member.
