Conservation group gains more land near Pa. creek

A group has obtained "conservation easements" on 400 acres of woodlands next to the pristine French Creek and its tributaries in northwestern Pennsylvania. September 23, 2011 Western Pennsylvania Conservancy president and chief executive officer Thomas Saunders tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the acquisition is important because the waterway has more biodiversity than any creek of its size in the state.
