Land group purchases 9 acres in Sewickley Heights for preservation

Allegheny Land Trust, a Sewickley-based and member-supported nonprofit land conservancy, has obtained 9 acres for preservation in Sewickley Heights. December 15, 2011 The land at 266 Scaife Road features scenic meadows and a pond that lies within the Little Sewickley Creek Watershed. The site was recognized in the Sewickley Heights Vision Plan council implemented in October 2010 as being a high priority for conservation.
