Paradise Price buy 777 acres for open space preservation

After three years, Paradise and Price townships have closed on the purchase of 777 acres of the Echo Farms property for open space preservation, Paradise supervisors said Tuesday. January 05, 2012 Previously owned by a hunting and fishing club, the property is bordered by Henry's Crossing Drive in Paradise Township, Clarks Road in Paradise and Price townships and Route 447 in Price. The purchase was funded with $1.4 million from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and $1.9 million in county open space money, Paradise solicitor John Prevoznik said.
