St. Marys Church land trust preserve 64 open acres

The Aquidneck Island Land Trust and St. Mary’s Church have reached a $3 million agreement to preserve 64 acres of church property abutting the St. Mary’s Pond reservoir. The deal enables the land trust to save key open space in the reservoir watershed and provides the church with money needed in part for a new parish house.
