152 Acre Farm In Meigs County To Be Preserved

The Land Trust for Tennessee announced that David and Verlinda Waters will conserve 152 acres of working farmland on the Tennessee River through a permanent conservation agreement. Known as River Ridge Farm, the Waters’ property contains over 2,000 feet of frontage on the Tennessee River and is adjacent to Washington Ferry, a registered site on the National Register of Historic Places.
