Brentwood could acquire 320 acres of parkland for $10 million

The Brentwood City Commission on Nov. 22 will consider a recommendation to acquire 320 acres of historic property on Wilson Pike from the family of the late Marcella and Reese Smith for development as a park. The park would be Brentwood's biggest and includes the historic Ravenswood home built in 1825 as well as extensive forest land. Crockett Park, the current largest park, is 170 acres.
