CarMax buys 8.5 acre site in Franklin

Used-car giant CarMax now owns a nearly 8.5-acre site on Mallory Lane formerly occupied by rival Driver’s Way. May 24, 2011 The land’s final sale price had not been made public at deadline; the site previously was listed at $8 million. The sale closed Friday.
