Limestone Athens to purchase 130 acres

The Limestone County Commission approved a resolution to purchase property for expansion of the Elm Industrial Park in Athens. December 20, 2011 There are no immediate plans for the 130-acre, $1.2 million real estate purchase, Limestone Economic Development Association Executive Director Tim Hill said. “We were running out of space in that industrial park,” Hill said. “The property will join the park.”
