Apple REIT Nine to Sell Ft. Worth Acreage for $198.4M

Apple REIT Nine, Inc. has entered into a contract to sell 110 parcels in Ft. Worth, TX to 111 Realty Investors, LP, a Texas limited partnership, for $198.4 million. November 09, 2011 The parcels, which Apple REIT Nine has reported to be 410 acres, are leased to Chesapeake under a 40-year lease for the production of Natural Gas. Apple REIT Nine, Inc. anticipates completing the sale in the fourth quarter of 2011. According to the purchase and sale contract, the president of 111 Realty Investors, LP is Michael J. Mallick and its business address is 3715 Camp Bowie Boulevard in Fort Worth, TX, the address of the Mallick Group. The Mallick Group made headlines in 2010 when it acquired the old Astroworld site in Houston.
