Austin energy firm buying 41 acres salt water disposal

Austin-based Imperial Resources Inc. is buying 41 acres and a salt water disposal facility in Texas for about $500,000, according to a securities filing. Imperial (OTCBB: IPRC) manages a portfolio of low-risk, onshore oil and gas assets. Through its subsidiary Imperial Oil & Gas Inc., the company signed the acquisition agreement with Legion Land & Exploration Corp. on April 27. The deal includes surface equipment, which is surrounded by about 6,000 wells, plus permits in Wise County.
