Cedar Park to annex more than 400 acres in western Williamson County

The City of Cedar Park will annex 415 acres of the Deer Creek Ranch neighborhood along Anderson Mill Road after residents in the area, hoping to receive service from a nearby city fire station, approached city officials and asked to be taken under the city's wing. The Cedar Park City Council approved the annexation at its meeting Thursday evening.
