Land bought for roundabout at Pleasant Run

Since 1947, Carol Ann Gentry and her family have owned land at the southwest corner of Pleasant Run and John McCain roads. Their former cattle ranch once covered 31 acres, but the family has sold pieces of its land over the years. All that's left is a few houses and a barn, all on 3.8 acres Now, the city's roundabout project is poised to shave a little more off the corner. September 19, 2011
