Dallas-based MGHerring Group will break ground in early 2012 on a 255-acre regional open-air shopping center, positioning a key Interstate 20 interchange in Kaufman County to emerge as a commercial hub for the East Texas trade area. September 21, 2011 MGHerring and the Terrell city officials have finalized a $30 million economic development agreement to develop Eighty Twenty, a word play on the site's location at the junction of Interstate 20 and US Hwy. 80. If all goes as planned, Eighty Twenty will be ready to open in spring 2013.
