Martin Brower buys more land in The Woodlands

The Martin-Brower Co., a distributor for McDonald's restaurants, has purchased an additional 12 acres of land in The Woodlands Trade Center for an expansion of its distribution center.
The company plans to break ground in the second quarter of 2008 on the construction of a 150,000-square-foot building on the 12-acre parcel.
Martin-Brower, which employs 170 people, already owns 11 acres of adjacent land and a 50,0000-square-foot building at 840 South Trade Center Parkway.
The current facility serves McDonald's stores in South Central Texas.
