North Texas getting new state park

A more than $7.1 million land sale has been completed for a planned state park in North Texas. November 01, 2011 The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on Tuesday announced it has closed on the purchase of more than 3,300 acres of Cross Timbers region land from several owners.
