Sun Chase developers plan 1600 acre project in eastern Travis County

A proposed major development in eastern Travis County would bring about 4,000 homes, townhomes and condominiums, hundreds of apartments and retail space and school sites to 1,604 acres east of Texas 130. It is one of several large residential and mixed-use projects that over the next 10 to 20 years would transform a part of the county that is now largely rural with some modest subdivisions but little retail and commercial development.
