A large portion of Volente Beach is up for sale, including the water park and a 58-acre waterfront tract on Lake Travis.

Several of the assets will be sold at an auction Aug. 24 at the Austin Hilton.

The 12 properties have a combined value of $60 million.

They include the Peninsula at Lago Vista, a 58-acre waterfront tract on Lake Travis -- entitled for 225 condos, the Volente Marina, which has 164 slips, and the Volente Beach water park.

The investment firm Treehouse Investments, LLC has contracted with McClung Properties Inc. to sell the property.

McClung isn't saying why the property is being sold, however the auction notice read: "local investor must sell everything.
